Carol Lee Oliver Wilkins, 69, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on March, 2016.
Carol was born in Louisville, KY to Lee Oliver, a minister and Lucille McGough Oliver. As a child, she traveled with her missionary parents and siblings all over the United States.
Being a gifted musician and vocalist, Carol shared her love of music with countless congregations at her beloved mother's side.
As an adult, Carol was a professional musician and performed across the country including Featured Performer at Seville Quarter during it's hey day in Lili Marlene's for 2 years. With her band, she headlined in Las Vegas and rubbed elbows with famous accomplished musicians who encouraged her to continue performing and writing.
Carol could play any musical instrument she set her sights on and sung for many weddings for her large extended family and dear friends.
As an adult, Carol was able to fulfill a life goal and graduated from UWF with a B.S. in Voice Performance with her loving husband always supportive.
Carol is survived by her husband and best friend of 39 years, Robert; children, York, Noel and Brian; her 97 year old father, Lee Oliver; a brother, a large extended family, many friends and fellow mucisians.
Carol was strong in her faith and her love for her husband and her family.
Visitation will be held 10:00am until the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with dear friends F. Claire and Joyce Weddles Officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and Emerald Coast Hospice are welcolme.
Special thanks to Emerald Coast Hospice, whose employees provided Carol and family with so much kindness, especially Adam Willis, RN, who is an exemplary human being and friend to the family.
