Obituary
Carolyn Long Nichols, 85, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Mrs. Nichols was born in Fayette, MO on July 18, 1931 to Arthur F. and Grace (Ketchum) Long. She worked in Human Resources at NIH in Bethesda, MD, where she lived for 55 years.
She is survived by her children; Carol Grantham (Scott) of New Bern, NC, Sandy Nichols of Jacksonville, FL, Mark Nichols (Mel Stewart) of Pensacola, FL and Amy Harrison (Chuck) of Leesburg, VA; five grandchildren Ashley Grantham, Sarah Grantham, Reagan Harrison, Paige Harrison and Ryan Harrison.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the Funeral Service at 12:00pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jamie Sanders officiating.
A Graveside Service will be held for Mrs. Nichols in the Fayette City Cemetery in Fayette, MO on Friday, May 26, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org
