Carolyn R. Williams, 82, of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. Mrs. Williams was born on January 16, 1931 in Sterling, CO to Adelle (Hodges) and Orlin Clifford Rice. She graduated with the Class of '49 from Pensacola High School, and attended PJC where she was on the first cheerleading squads for the basketball team. In 1951 she went to Columbia, SC and married her high school sweetheart, Paul J. Williams, Jr. while he was in the Army. Mrs. Williams was a member of the First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Paul J. Williams, Jr.; three sons, Steve Williams, David Williams and John Williams (Dora); two granddaughters, Donna and Dena; two grandsons, Davis and Travis; and seven great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, April 22, 2013 at Bayview Memorial Park with Pastor Gordon Godfrey, Jr. officiating.
