CDR William "Bill" Harker, USN (Ret.), age 90, of Pensacola, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 29, 2024. Bill was born in Sheridan, Wyoming to the late Walter and Helen McCoy Harker, in addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Evelyn Harker and his second wife, Ruby Harker; his three sons, David, Mike and Jeff Harker.

CDR William "Bill" Harker, USN (Ret.) proudly served his country as Commander in the United States Navy, having served in the Vietnam War. Bill was a loving and devoted grandfather. Throughout his life he loved backpacking in Wyoming at Lake Geneva and spending time outdoors and with the people he loved. He had a master's degree from UWF in public administration. He was a patriot and was proud to serve his country. He was loved dearly and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his granddaughter, Kelsey Harker-Anderson (Austin), of Pensacola, FL; his daughter-in-law, Kay Harker, of Pensacola, FL; his sister, Vicki Ludecke, of Federal Way, WA.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at The Blake at Pensacola and to the doctors and staff at Emerald Coast Hospice.

Visitation will be held 1:30pm until a Memorial Service begins at 2:00pm Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Dale Patterson, officiating.
