Charles Raymond (Chuck) Birchfield, 68, of Pensacola, FL and formerly of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. Mr. Birchfield was born on July 5, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to Walter and Flora Birchfield. He received his BA in Business Administration from University of Southern Mississippi where he was a member of Gamma Tau Chapter of the Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity. He retired from the State of Florida after 361/2 years, as a WOTC Coordinator for the Agency for Workforce Innovation and an Administrator with Labor, Employment and Training (LET). He was a member of the Lions Club of Pensacola since 2004, and a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. His loving wife Kathryn Birchfield; parents Mr. & Mrs. Walter Birchfield and brother Kyle Birchfield preceded him Chuck in death. His daughter Kimberly McGuire and her husband Sean as well as their two children Solomon and Ronan survive Chuck. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
