Charles "Buster" R. Thompson, Jr., 97, native of Pensacola, FL passed away May 25, 2016.
Buster served his country honorably during WWII and was also known for being an excellent plumber.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Thompson; siblings, Marjorie Miller, Mildred Byrd, Carolyn Palmer, Lillian McLemore, Bernice VanMetre, D.H. Thompson, and James D. Thompson.
Survivors include his daughter, Jan Harrison (Bobby); grandchildren, Leslie Franklin (Dale) and Jeff Harrison (Kristy); great-grandchildren, Jordan Franklin, Shelby Franklin, Jenna Harrison and Alex Harrison; his sister, Cynthia Alexander; and special niece, Kathie Sutton (Gerry); great-nieces, Ashley Seitz (Ed) and Lacey Ray (Chad); as well as a great-great niece, Reese Ray; and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 1-2pm Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with a Graveside Service to follow at 2:15pm at Bayview Memorial Park with Rev. Brian Nott officiating.
