IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Patrick
Ryan
March 8, 1982 – May 13, 2021
Charles Patrick Ryan, 39, of Pensacola, FL was called home on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Charles was born in Honolulu, HI on March 8, 1982. He graduated from Woodham High School in 2000. There were many wonderful aspects of Charlie's life, and many ways that he touched all of our lives. Charlie loved his family and friends fiercely. He will be remembered as a caring son, a wonderful brother, a loving boyfriend, and a great friend. He was an outdoorsman, survivalist, an avid stick collector and hoarder of everything. He found great happiness in insignificant details.
Charlie was always a friendly face in town or in the yard of his house by the side of the road. He always had a way of making everyone around him feel special. His smile could light up a room and his laugh was infectious.
In all these ways and more, he made our lives richer and fuller. Now that he has passed away there is an emptiness and pain, confusion and maybe even anger at his death. But in many ways, the gift of Charlie's life is still here with us every day. He lives in our memories and stories, and in what all of us have become because of him.
Charles is survived by his parents, Ann and Charles Ryan; sisters, Theresa Clay (Christopher) and Dorothy Cotita (Matt) and his loving girlfriend, Megan Washington.
