Charlotte Norene Jacob Bond, age 88, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, in Pensacola, FL. Charlotte was one of six children and was born in Groveport, OH to the late Stanley R. and Bernice Root Jacob. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Vernon Prentiss Bond; and four siblings, brother, Ralph Jacob and three sisters, Dorothy Boring, Arlene Braswell, Vivian Davidson.

Charlotte volunteered as a boy scout den mother for her two oldest sons. She worked as a bookkeeper and enjoyed playing bingo at many of the Fort Walton Beach area bingo halls, where she enjoyed socializing with many friends and acquaintances.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her sons, Gary Vernon Bond (Vicky), of Pace, FL, Dale Prentiss Bond (Kathleen), of Pensacola, FL, Steven James (Dani), of Cour de'Alene, ID; daughter, Donna Sue Fredrickson (Glen), of Pensacola, FL; sister, Connie Montoney, of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren, Dale Bond, Jr., Megan Bond, Shelly Caruso, Bret Fredrickson, Rebecca Childers, Benjamin Bond, Robert Hebert and Keith Herbert; three great grandchildren, Emily Bond, Matthew Bond, and Julian Childers.

Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. 2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, with Rev. Mike Mashburn, officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel to line up for procession to the cemetery departing at 10:30AM.
