Obituary

Charlotte Martin Patterson, 89, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was born in Charleston, SC, attended the College of Charleston where she received her bachelor's degree at the age of 19. She was a member of the Junior League of Charleston, SC as well as a member of the Junior League of Pensacola. Charlotte volunteered as a Gray Lady with the American Red Cross with over 5,000 hours of service and recently received the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for her service to military families and the American Red Cross. She was a dedicated and faithful charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Pensacola. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Russell G. Patterson, Jr., U.S.M.C. ret. She is survived by her son, Russell G. Patterson, III; a daughter, Patricia Patterson Lambeth and a granddaughter, Trinity Elizabeth Lambeth all of Pensacola, FL. Memorial services will be held at 10:00am Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Pensacola with Dr. Hugh Hamilton officiating. Inurnment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3400 Bayou Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32503. Special thanks are given to the doctors and nurses at Sacred Heart Hospital, Bayou Tower, Sixth Floor and the doctors and nurses in I.C.U. at Sacred Heart Hospital, Fourth Floor.
