Cheryl Ann Early, 69, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, March 25, 2024.

Cheryl was born on November 17, 1954, in Pensacola, FL to John H. and Audrey Hall Endres. She graduated from Pensacola Catholic High School, Class of 1972. While at Catholic High School, she played the clarinet in the band and achieved All State recognition. Cheryl was a very active charter member of the Pensacola Bay Concert Band. She also created the Pensacola Bay Wind Ensemble which traveled to area residential facilities to bring live music to those who couldn't travel to concerts. By 2022, this ensemble performed over 165 mini-concerts at 32 facilities. Cheryl went to cosmetology school in Shreveport, LA and ultimately was a professional hairdresser with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed watching and attending hockey games, especially the Pensacola Ice Pilots. Most of all, Cheryl found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and taking them to the beach. She also had a soft place in her heart for all animals, no matter what type, dogs, cats, birds, turtles, etc.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Audrey Endres; brother, John Endres, Jr.; as well as her son, Eric Scogins.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Early; daughters, Heather Yancey (Bernie) and Jennifer Griffith (Darin); sister, Teresa Endres Rooks (Dale); as well as 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10:00am until a Funeral Service begins at 11:00am Monday, April 1, 2024, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Fr. John Licari officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pensacola Bay Concert Band, 18 W. Wright St., Pensacola, FL 32501.
