IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cheryl Diane
Glasscock
July 14, 1951 – October 16, 2022
On October 16, 2022, Cheryl Diane Glasscock bid bon voyage on one final cruise beyond the sea. Born July 14, 1951, 71 years young, she leaves behind her devoted husband, James Edward Glasscock; her two sons, Jeremy David Glasscock and Lex Jacob Glasscock; and two cats, Spoopy and Cloud.
Cheryl was a dedicated wife, mother, friend, and cat nana. Cheryl turned heads with her bright fuchsia hair, her contagious laughter, and her sneezes that could be heard from the surface of Jupiter. Her Netflix watchlist overflowed with foreign dramas and Hallmark movies.
As a Navy wife, she followed her husband all over the world and eventually settled in Pensacola, FL, where her husband James learned the three most important phrases in their 53 years marriage: "Yes, Dear," "You're right, Dear," and "Anything you say, Dear." Cheryl encouraged her sons to follow their bliss no matter where it took them in life. She remains the undefeated tabletop champion against Jeremy. She pushed Lex to pursue his career as an artist and author.
Cheryl performed miracles as a hairdresser at Emerald Cuts Salon and amassed a large clientele spanning generations. Daisies were her favorite flower, and she loved calico cats. She loved NASCAR but hated Denny Hamlin for no reason beside "just because."
She was hilarious, generous, loving, and helpful to anyone in need. She will be missed.
