Christine B. Deuell, 74, of Pace, FL passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She was born in Emporia, VA on July 16, 1937. She graduated from Vacaville High School in Vacaville, CA. Mrs. Deuell was a Past President of the Woodham High School Soccer Booster Club and a past Boy Scout Merit badge instructor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rebecca Pollard and two sisters and a brother. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, William Bill Deuell; a daughter, Tammy Edmondson (John L.) and one son, Tim Deuell; two granddaughters, Rebecca and Lauryn and a grandson, Devin and one great grandson, Hudson. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until Funeral services beginning at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Ken Griffin will officiate. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Christine to a scholarship fund to help aid others with Alzheimers disease c/o COA Adult Day Care, 875 Royce St., Pensacola, FL 32503, ATTN: Sandy Holtry.
