Christopher Paul "Chris" Sherwood, 42, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015. Chris was born in Pensacola on December 28, 1972 to James Harry and Linda Fleming Sherwood. He was a 1990 graduate of William J. Woodham High School and played in the marching band. Chris was a member of Boy Scouts Troop # 407 and attained the rank of Eagle Scout at age 14. He attended Pensacola Junior College and studied Architecture Drafting and Design. He worked as an Autocad Draftsman for an architect company. Chris is survived by his mother, Linda Sherwood; father, Jim Sherwood and a brother, Tony Sherwood; a niece, Amber Joy Sherwood; a nephew, Trinton Sherwood and two great nephews, Damian and Isaiah. Visitation will be held at 10:00am Saturday, January 10, 2015 with Funeral services beginning at 11:00am from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Mike Chappell officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Bayview Memorial Park. Chris's family wishes to give special thanks to Pamela Pritchett and Theresa Gibson, long time personal care nurses.
