Cindy Catherine Adriano, 46, of Pensacola, FL passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 12, 2020.

She was born on March 1, 1974 in Charleston, SC and graduated from Escambia High School in 1992. Cindy served 8 years honorably in the United States Army as a Supply and Logistics Specialist. She obtained the rank of Sergeant (E-5). She was awarded 2 Army Commendation Medals, Army Lapel Button, 2 National Defense Medals, and Army Service Ribbon. Upon Discharge from the Army, Cindy pursued her education in "Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology", earning an AS degree on August 7, 2006. Cindy was employed as an Ultrasound Technician at Baptist Hospital. Cindy enjoyed running, boating, camping, sporting events, fishing, and spending time with family members, to include Doug Emmert and his 3 daughters, Shelly, Sadie, and Riley. She also enjoyed outings such as concerts and cheerleading competitions with her sister, Lori, niece, Sydney Brown and Riley Emmert. Cindy was also an avid fan of Florida State Football and the Miami Dolphins. She also provided refuge for dogs, Lexi, Bella, and Bruiser in need of adoption and rescue.

Survivors include her parents, Edgar and Elaine Adriano; sister, Lori Brown (Sean); brother, Robert Adriano; nieces, Stephanie Reilly and Sydney Brown; nephew, Timothy Brown; significant other, Doug Emmert; her "adopted daughters", Shelly Gregory, Sadie Emmert, and Riley Emmert; an "adopted grandson", Elias Gregory; as well as great niece, Emma Carstens.

Visitation will be held 12:00 noon until a Memorial Service to begin at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery for private family and invited guests.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pensacola Hotel for Dogs and Cats, Adoption and Rescue Shelter Service.
