Lani's human experience ended on Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Foley, Alabama when she went home to be reunited with her parents. She left this world suddenly but peacefully at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center after a short but fierce battle with cancer.

Claire Ladnier (Smith) Siniard, "Lani," to family and friends and lovingly called "Nana" by her parents was born on August 10, 1970, in Mobile, Alabama where she spent her childhood. She later moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida where she graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 1988. She spent most of her adult life in Pensacola only recently having moved to Orange Beach, Alabama. Lani earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of West Florida; however, her true calling was that of wife and mother. In 2001, she married the love of her life and soulmate, Sean Siniard. Their first son, Devynn, was born in 2002, and their second son, Landon, followed soon after in 2005. Lani loved the beach, music, flowers, all things that sparkle, and cooking gourmet meals, but most of all she loved her family and friends. She was always a shining beacon of light to them in this often dark world.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Claire (Snedeker) Smith ll.; brother, Dennis Smith III; Paternal grandparents, Dennis and Ida Mae (Donoghue) Smith Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Alfred and Lutrelle (Jernigan) Snedeker.

Lani leaves behind her husband, Sean Siniard, and sons, Devynn and Landon Siniard; brothers, Robert (Stephanie) Smith, and Brian (Wendy) Smith; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
