Claire M. Westmark, born Ina Claire Mayo, 88, of Pensacola, FL passed away December 28, 2020. Claire was born on June 2, 1932 in Century, FL.

Claire was a proud mother and lover of all animals, especially cats. Her passions were playing board games with her family and friends, watching sunsets, baking, homemade ice cream and Garden Club. She was an active member of the Escambia County Medical Auxiliary. Claire was a sharp-eyed Dominos player and often carried her teammate to victory at family Canasta tournaments. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a willing member on many family white-water rafting trips. She was a long-time member of East Hill Baptist Church and loved singing Southern Baptist hymns. For many years at East Hill, she arranged flowers for services and delivery to the homebound.

She married Edward Westmark in 1953 and they remained married until his death in 2017.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Westmark (Kaye) and John Westmark (Carrie);  her grandchildren, Valerie, James, Laura, and Jean Louise; sister-in-law, Jean Mayo, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A private family burial will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery on January 7th, 2021 coordinated by Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
