Clarence Edward Veach, age 84, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015. He was born on August 13, 1930 in Hickory, NC. Clarence received a Bachelor's degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory and was a retired Captain in the United States Navy. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Nina B. Veach on December 31, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Veach of Naples, FL; a son, Doug Veach of Edgewater, MD along with a granddaughter, Hanna Veach of Edgewater, MD. Visitation will be held at 10:00am Friday, May 22, 2015 with Funeral services beginning at 10:30am from Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Ed Norris will officiate. Graveside committal services with full Navy honors will be held at 11:45am at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
