Clarence "Jack" Cruze, 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 surrounded by his family. Jack was born on October 4, 1937 to Clarence and Rose Vineyard Cruze. He served in the US Navy for 20 years retiring as an Internal Communications First Class. After retiring from the Navy he worked as an Electrician and ultimately retired with Civil Service. Jack was a Past Master of the Ensley Masonic Lodge #278 and also a member of the Zelica Grotto. In his retirement, he enjoyed fundraising for different community and military organizations. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice Cruze; a brother, Neil Cruze; as well as a great-granddaughter, Shelby Webb. Survivors include his loving wife, Lynie Cruze; daughter, Peggy Hinson (Wyman); son, James Bostic; granddaughter, Joye Mullins (Mitch); great-grandchildren, Abbie Mullins and Jordan Pickett; his brother, Deane Cruze; and sisters, Joyce Kelley Elayne, Jackie Lund and Beverly Cook. Visitation will be held 5:00pm until a Rosary and Funeral Service to begin at 7:00pm Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Msgr. James Flaherty celebrant. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of your choice in memory of Shelby Webb.
