Wesley "Clayton" Hughes, age 42, of Pensacola, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2022. Clayton was born to Jimmy "Sonnie" Hughes and Brenda Patrick Brothers in Fort Benning, GA.

Clayton was a loving husband, father, brother and son who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Clayton is preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline and Jesse Patrick; grandfather, Jimmy Hughes; great grandparents, JC and Elizabeth Vincion; stepfather, Jim Brothers and step-grandfather, Dan Baber.

Those left to cherish his memory included, his wife, Jennifer Hughes; 3 sons, JC Hughes, Thomas Edwards and Dalton Edwards; a daughter, Makaley Waters; mother, Brenda Patrick; father, Jimmy "Sonnie" Hughes (Angela Schweppe); a brother, Patrick Hughes; sister, Stacy Holden; a grandmother, Betty Baber; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Suzanne Edwards.

A memorial service will be held to honor Claytons life at 4:00pm Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Crossway Baptist Church, in Murfreesboro, TN, with Rev. Kevin Cerezo, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00pm until 4:00pm prior to the service Sunday.
