Cliff Michael Blanchard, 62, of Pensacola passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016.

We mourn the passing of a son, husband, father, brother and friend from complications due to surgery. Cliff was born July 3, 1954 to Clifford and Dorothy Blanchard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Millard Joseph; Mr. and Mrs. W.E. "Payday" Blanchard; father, Clifford J. Blanchard and sister, Tanya Haney.

He is survived by his mother, Dottie Blanchard; wife, Sarah Blanchard; brother Richard Blanchard (Debbie); daughter, Summer Blanchard; granddaughters, Jaza'eh "Jazz" and Nova Harris; step-sons, Lukas Stanley (Sarah) and Kevin Stanley along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cliff was born and raised in Pensacola, FL and never considered any other place his home. He earned a B.A. from the University of West Florida and worked as a Catastrophic Insurance Adjuster. He was an extremely talented man who could whittle a cane, carve a statue, build a house or direct any party. Cliff was a friend to many and maintained a group of loyal friends throughout his lifetime. If you wanted to build something, he could organize a crew overnight and be there to get it done the next day. His motto was the more people we have, the faster it gets done and the more fun we'll have. Oh, how he did believe in having fun. He was up for anything, anytime and never understood the words "it can't be done". Cliff was a man who had your back as a friend and loyal to his friends and family to the end. A light has gone out in our lives, but we know we were blessed to have him for a short time and look forward to the day when we can be reunited with him again.

Go strong with love from all your family, friends and the "Wewa" guys (they know who they are). You and Danny keep them straight up there.

Visitation will be held at 2:00pm Sunday; Funeral Services begin at 3:00pm September 11, 2016 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, 2276 Airport Blvd., Pensacola, FL 32504. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In keeping with Cliff's light hearted spirit please dress casually.

Pallbearers are Danny Royals, Dan Stephens, Michael Manning, Ray Baughn, Larry Garrett and Rusty Meharg with alternates; Bill Peacock, Joe Terrell and Wade Matteson.

Thank you to all the nursing staff at West Florida Hospital on the 2nd floor, 5th floor and ICU that took excellent care of Cliff.
