Clifton "Cliff" Broadwater, 64, of Pensacola, FL passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. Clifton "Cliff" Broadwater was born June 3, 1949 in Jackson, MS and grew up in Florence, MS. He graduated from Hinds Community College and worked in retail sales and management for most of his career. Cliff was best known for his love of people. He genuinely loved God, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, volunteering in the media ministry at First Baptist Church, and golfing with his buddies. Cliff always had a smile on his face and a positive outlook on life. He truly lived his life in service to God and others. Cliff is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Lewis Broadwater, Sr. and Myrtle Myers Broadwater. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Broadwater of Pensacola; his children, Heath (India), Joshua and Emily; his grandchildren, Zoey, Nola and Bryson; and his two sisters, Cathy Jeffcoats of Brandon, MS and Nedra Boggs of Florence, MS. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 2:00pm Friday, January 31, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Pensacola (sanctuary) with Rev. Don Minton officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
