Obituary

Clovis Joseph "Bea" Barron, 99, of Pensacola Beach, FL., passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Joe began his 99-year journey of this life on February 15, 1925, in Plaucheville, LA. After graduating from Cottonport High School in 1942, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy Reserve and served as a bombardier in Anti-Submarine Warfare during WWII. While stationed in England he met his first love, Doreen Maud Faulkner. In 1947 she arrived in New York on the ship Marine Falcon, and they married that year and had two daughters, Rene'e Klosterman and Randy Lynn Barron. His career continued stateside in Civil Service until he retired in 1982.

After Doreen's passing in 1993, Joe met and married his second love, Jeanette

Langston, in 1996. Together they traveled to many wonderful locations across the world and became endeared parishioners of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, FL, and later at Our Lady of Assumption on Pensacola Beach, FL. Joe had a passion for expressing his opinions, flying, and ufology. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as, a member of the Mutual UFO Network.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Cecile Duplechin Daigrepont and Florian Barron; stepfather, Leo Daigrepont; half-siblings, Raymond Daigrepont, Hayward Daigrepont and stepdaughter, Jeanice English.

He is survived by daughters, Rene'e Klosterman (Steve) and Randy Lynn Barron; his loving wife, Jeanette; stepsons, Jim Langston (Catherine), John Langston (Shirley) and Joe Langston (Leah); grandchildren, Heather Morris, Brandi Klosterman, Cecillia Berger (Matthew), Vincent Barron, Karl Westegard (Rebecca), Theo Langston (Kate), Stephen Langston (Mary), Jack Langston and Sam Langston; 8 great grandchildren; half-brothers, Melvin J. Daigrepont, Allen Barron and Tom Barron, as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
