Colonel Anthony "Tony" Frank Mielczarski, Jr., 79 passed away on Sunday September 23, 2018. He was born on May 10, 1939 in Pensacola, Florida and retired in 1989 from the USMC as a Judge Advocate. He was a graduate of Pensacola High School class of 1957. He earned both an undergraduate and law degree from the University of Florida, graduating from law school in 1965. He was a member of the Florida Bar since 1965.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Spradley Mielczarski; parents, Anthony and Margaret (Felicia) Mielczarski; son, Michael Mielczarski; sister, Mary (Tina) Matheny.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Frank Mielczarski III (Mollie) of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Katherine Fiske (Jon) of Rockville, MD; grandchildren, Anthony Ward, Charles Mielczarski, Caroline Fiske, and Andrew Fiske.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Services will be held Thursday September 27, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Ken Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5401 Corporate Woods Drive, #100, Pensacola, FL 32504 or Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12 th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504.
