Colin (Curly) Frederick Arnold, 83, of Pensacola, FL died Friday, October 16, 2015. Mr. Arnold was born on April 26, 1932 in Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada. He graduated from Huntingdon Academy where he played hockey, football and played trombone. He also played Ice Hockey for the town of Huntingdon. He came to Pensacola in 1956 and was employed with Dyson Construction. After working with Dyson Construction for 22 1/2 years he started Panhandle Door, which he ran until 2009. Mr. Arnold enjoyed going to dances, hockey games, casinos, outdoor festivals and spending time with family and friends. He loved the water. Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Arnold; father, Arthur Arnold; sister, Dorothy Hamilton and brother, Malcolm (Mac) Arnold. A wonderful husband, grandfather and great grandfather, Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Ruth M. Arnold; son, Todd F. A. Arnold; daughter, Kelley R. E. Stroud (Michael Goodwin); granddaughter, Trisha A. Lyon; grandsons, Michael A. and Christopher L. Stroud; great granddaughters, Emma Elizabeth Chavers and Zoey Kim Whalen and great grandson, Cole Allen Chavers. A visitation will be held 4:00pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Frank Beall officiating. Mr. Arnold will be laid to rest at the Huntingdon Protestant Cemetery in Huntingdon, Quebec, Canada.
