Collis H. White Sr., 77 of Pensacola, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010. Mr. White was born in Darlington, FL on June 26, 1932 to Itheria (Jackson) and Grafton White. He graduated from FSU and the University of Vanderbilt with his Doctrine of Jurisprudence. He practiced law in South Florida and was District Attorney in Orange County, FL. Around 1976 he worked in Real Estate Law until his retirement in 2006. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. His parents, three sisters, and a brother precede Mr. White in death. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Gladys G. White, four children, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; brothers; Jerry Lee White, Darlington, FL. and Clinton White, Milton, FL. Visitation will be at 9:00am until the service time at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lancaster officiating. Burial will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in the Holly Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Castleberry, AL. Pallbearers Jody White, Daniel Taylor, Robert Taylor, Jerry Valanzano, Jonathan White, and Howard White.
