With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Ellisor Robertson, who went home to her Heavenly Father on August 5, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by her two devoted daughters. Connie was a longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida, and lived a life marked by faith, love, service, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom Robertson; her parents, Warren and Betty Ellisor; and her sister, Becky Smith.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Mary White and her husband, Bill White, of Pensacola, Florida, and Molly Elder and her husband, Daniel Elder, of Pensacola, Florida; her stepdaughter, Beth Robertson of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and her cherished grandchildren, Will Mitchell and his wife, Kayla, of Washington, D.C.; Isabella Henderson and her husband, Ian, of Pensacola, Florida; Wendy Mitchell of Mobile, Alabama; and Baylon Seth, and Charley Elder of Pensacola, Florida. She was the proud and adoring great-grandmother of Miles Henderson and Forrest Henderson, both of Pensacola.

She is also survived by her loving sister, Val Parish and her husband, L.C. Parish, of Chipley, Florida; her niece, Emily Watts and her husband, Danny Watts, of Chipley, Florida; her nephew, Casey Parish and his wife, Terra Parish, of Tallahassee, Florida; her niece, Autumn Smith of Pensacola, Florida; her great-niece, Morgan Watts; her great-nephew, Jackson Watts; and dear friends.

Connie shared a special bond with her lifelong best friend, Laura Snyder, whose friendship spanned decades. One of Connie’s greatest joys was traveling, especially cruising. Fittingly, her final cruise was taken with Laura last year—more than four decades after the two friends embarked on their very first cruise together in the early 1980s.

Connie adored her beloved Yorkie, Chloe, who brought endless joy, laughter, and companionship to her life. The two were rarely far apart and shared a special bond that brought comfort to them both.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Connie was raised with a strong foundation of faith, compassion, and service that guided her throughout her life. She met the love of her life, Tom Robertson, when he hired her to work at Elebash’s Jewelry. Together they built a wonderful life, living in Atlanta, Big Canoe, and Jasper, Georgia, before eventually settling in Destin, Florida.

Above all else, Connie treasured being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a loving and nurturing stay-at-home mom who poured her heart into raising her daughters. Whether serving as a room mother, volunteering at school, or reading stories to children during story time, she found immense joy in caring for others and making people feel loved.

Throughout her career, Connie embraced many opportunities. She worked as a mortgage broker for SunTrust Bank, owned and operated a Minuteman Press printing company where her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit flourished, and later enjoyed working alongside her daughter at Merrill Lynch.

After retiring, Connie dedicated herself to serving others. She found great fulfillment volunteering at Manna Food Bank, serving as a Stephen Minister through the United Methodist Church, and working as a poll deputy on Election Day. She believed deeply in giving back to her community and living out her faith through acts of kindness and service.

Connie had a curious mind and a passion for learning. She loved following politics, staying informed about current events, and enjoyed thoughtful conversations on just about any topic. She was deeply loved by Stephen Gardner, who brought her much happiness and kept her entertained and informed.

Connie also had a fun-loving, competitive spirit and thoroughly enjoyed playing games—especially when she won! She also found joy in painting, gardening, photography, sewing and bird watching. Her warm smile, quick wit, kind heart, and generous nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Savior. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

A private memorial service will be held.
