Connie Jo Varde, 73, of Santa Rosa County, FL passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Connie was born on May 8, 1945 in Souix Rapids, Iowa. She graduated high school in Marathon, Iowa in 1963 and worked in cosmetology in Minnesota prior to moving to Pensacola in 1966. She worked as a Dental Assistant for many years then worked at the Medical Center Clinic for 20 years in various positions, including Orthopedics and Internal Medicine Patient Services. She enjoyed travel, hosting foreign exchange students, cooking, shopping, reading, watching "Dancing with the Stars" and her old Western movies, family time, eating out, and her greyhound, Mandy (who is deceased). She never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Tjebben; father, Harold Alexander; sisters, Bonita Alexander and Patricia Hadler; as well as her stepfather, Bertram Tjebben.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Alecia Enfinger; grandson, Jacob Craft; granddaughter, Kristina Craft; brothers, Ron Alexander and Kim Tjebben; sisters, Kathie Sutton and Caroline Carithers; and her stepmother, Cynthia Alexander.

A Memorial Gathering will be held 5:30pm - 7:30pm Monday, May 13, 2019 at Tuscan Oven in Pensacola, FL.
