Coy F. Stone, 82, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Coy was born in Dillon, SC, the son of James L. and Berline (Bledsoe) Stone. He served in the US Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer after 24 yrs. Coy was a former co-owner of A-1 Small Engines of Cantonment. He enjoyed NASCAR, fixing all things mechanical and was an avid HAM radio operator. This is WA4KUJ signing off!! He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon L. Stone. Coy is survived by a daughter, Karen (Greg) Englert; son, Coy, Jr. and his step-children, Leonard Starke, Stacey (Arnold) Moeller, Thomas Jurkowich, Jason (Kathleen) Jurkowich and numerous grandchildren. Following a private ceremony, he will be inurned at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an organization of your choice in his memory.
