Curtis C. Cooper Jr. went to Heaven on Monday, April 11, 2022. He was born July 31, 1944 to Curtis and Ann Cooper.

He worked at International Paper as a planner for over forty years. Curtis excelled at and loved his job. He made many friends and was afforded some wonderful travel opportunities while there.

He enjoyed boating with his family, golfing and cooking until he could no longer do so.

In his retirement Curtis enjoyed spending time at the hunting camp and being a Papa to his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Carolyn Locke, Mary Evelyn Guenther and Sue Howard.

Curtis is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Deborah Cooper; daughters, Marianne Cooper (Jeri), Monica Bobe (Rick), Tom Luke, Ben Luke (Kristen) and five grandchildren, Kara Bobe, Peyton Bobe, Grayson Luke, Trenton Cooper and Benji Luke.

A visitation will be held 1:00pm until a funeral service begins at 2:00pm Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Jeff Spooneybarger. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Perry Robinson, Tommy Nall, Greg Cox, Rick Bobe, Ben Luke and Justin Womack.
