Cylea Lyrio, 62, died unexpectedly Monday, March 8, 2021.

She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1958 to Wellen and Maria Ignes Lyrio. Cylea navigated the US immigration system for six years from Brazil to fulfil her dream of providing her children a better opportunity. She was awarded legal residency to the United States and in 2000 arrived with her husband and two young children with little money and limited English proficiency. She worked hard - often multiple jobs - to ensure her children received a college education. Cylea had a tireless positivity, a model work ethic and was very nurturing. She was a loving wife to her husband of 30 years. As an employee of Perdido Beach Resort, she took great pride in serving her guests with the finest attention to detail and endless enthusiasm. Her co-workers were her second family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her seven grandchildren. Her loss is felt deeply and she will be missed greatly.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wellen Lyrio.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Pedro; her mother, Maria Ignes Lyrio; her sister, Cristina Lyrio; her brother, Wellen Lyrio Jr.; her children, Frency Moore (Jared) and Yuri Ramos (Tiffany) and her seven beloved grandchildren.
