D. Ann Ascherfeld Caulder, 73, resident of Pensacola passed peacefully on January 26, 2010. Ann was born in Pensacola and graduated from Pensacola High (Class of 1954). She married, had three children, enjoyed being a homemaker for many years and received an Accounting degree from UWF. She moved to Tampa where she became a Certified Public Accountant and started her own successful CPA firm. In retirement, she moved to North Carolina where she enjoyed her grandchildren. She returned to Pensacola in 2004 and became active again with the Gadsden United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women Esther Circle. She took pleasure in being a member of the Pensacola High Alumni group. She is survived by her children, Michael (Rene) Osuna of Texas, Ted Ascherfeld of Florida, Tina (Gray) Kirkpatrick of North Carolina; five grandchildren, Courtney, Preston, Trey, Mary Anna and Peter; special cousins Yvonne Cahoon and Linda Ripley of Pensacola and others. A Memorial service is planned for June, service times and dates will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Covenant Hospice at West Florida Hospital or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer. HARPER-MORRIS MEMORIAL CHAPEL is in charge of arrangements.
