IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dail Arlyn
Crommett
September 12, 1936 – June 11, 2025
Dail Arlyn (Nason) Crommett, 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Pensacola, FL with her loving family by her side.
Dail was born on September 12, 1936, to Ben and Althea (Sade) Nason. Dail graduated from Howland High School and was a grade schoolteacher in Alton, ME. Soon, Dail and Gerald were married and what a life they shared for 57 years. They raised 3 children and gave them many opportunities for travel. They had wonderful friends that they shared many family vacations with from skiing in Squaw Mountain and Sugarloaf, to boating and camping on Seboeis Lake and Lilly Bay. They built a camp on Cold Stream Pond where many memories were made with family and friends. They traveled through Western Europe with their Eel business and worked side by side. We say they worked hard and played hard. In addition to raising a family and supporting the growth of Gerald's work in the eel business, Dail was also a successful Real Estate Broker. She was involved in our community and they generously supported many local civic events and provided employment to several dedicated employees. They set a great example by their hard work and dedication to family, friends and community. In her later years, her faith was important and while in Passadumkeag she supported her local church and after her life changed with Gerald's passing in 2013, she found new church homes and Dail also developed a group of new friends in the Hampden area and in Florida where she stayed with Heidy & Bill.
Dail is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Crommett.
She is survived by her children, Damon Crommett of New Hampshire, Gwen Cushings (Andre) of Maine, Heidy Hayden (Bill) of Florida; grandchildren, Derrick (Jenn), Kyle (Kellie), Trevor, Grace (Trae), Andre IV (Heather), Gerald, Jared (Jessica), Alexandria (Jullian); great grandchildren, Elexis, Ryker, Kenedie, Kalia, Grey, Elsa, Sadie, Ford, Emmie, Clayton, Emerson, and Scarlett and one great-great granddaughter, Amira.
