Daisie Mae Helen Hubbard, 89, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was born in Pensacola, FL in 1926. Mrs. Hubbard attended St. Stephen Elementary School and Pensacola Catholic High School. She was a house wife and loving wife of Assistant Fire Chief (Retired) Gilbert A. Hubbard for 62 years. Mrs. Hubbard was a dedicated cake baker, artificial flower arranger and a very good cook. Mrs. Hubbard is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert A. Hubbard; father, George M. Michaels; mother, Lillian G. Micheals; brother, George M. Michaels, Jr., and brother-in-law, William J. Hubbard. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by her daughters, Martha Ann Hall (Danny), Simpsonville, SC and Janice C. Baggett, Pensacola, FL; son, Gilbert A. Hubbard Jr., Pensacola, FL; grandsons, Craig Hall (Cristie), Greenville, SC and Jason Solchenberger (Amy), Pensacola, FL; granddaughter, Karen Smith (Roger), Schwenksville, PA; sister-in-law, Georgette Hubbard, Pensacola, FL; two great granddaughters and four great grandsons; nieces and nephews in Pensacola, FL, Mobile, AL, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX and Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00pm with a Rosary prayed at 2:00 pm at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pensacola, FL. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Active Pallbearers will be Jim Hubbard, Brian Hubbard, Gilbert A. Hubbard, Jr., Michael Gaudet, Craig Hall and Jason Solchenberger. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Alzheimer's organization.
