Dale was born in Pensacola, attended local schools, graduated from Pensacola High School 1967 and Mercer University, Macon, GA. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Dale worked with his family in the men's clothing business, Wiggins Clothiers Inc. He was an avid reader, historian, and member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Dale had a gift for words and a quick wit. He will be remembered for being generous and loving to family, friends and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Early Wiggins and Nellie Donahoo Wiggins and his brother, Wilton Earl Wiggins.

He is survived by his sister, Janice C. Wiggins (Ron Manning) of Clarkesville, GA, his sister, Alice Wiggins Sherrill and niece Ashley Sherrill both of Pensacola.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Christ Episcopal Church in The Chapel of the Beloved Son, 18 West Wright Street, Pensacola, FL 32501 with Interim Rector Robert H. Blackwell officiating.
