Damocles Lopez, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Mr. Lopez was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and was an Officer in the United States Merchant Marines during World War II, being discharged as a member of the Coast Guard. He is survived by his wife, Zilma Fonseca Lopez and a daughter, Luciana Lopez along with other family members. Visitation will be held beginning at 12noon, Thursday, July 30, 2015 until 1:30pm, at which time a funeral cortege will depart for Barrancas National Cemetery where a Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm with Fr. Kevin McQuone officiating. Military honors will be given at that time.
