Daniel "Coon" James Cuneo, 69, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Coon was born on August 6, 1948 in Houma, Louisiana to John Cuneo and Stella Boudreaux. He was an electrical engineer, an excellent musician and a member of ASCAP.

If you knew Coon, he was not hard to remember, as he left an impact on people and circumstances too numerous to mention here.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Cuneo; mother, Stella Cuneo and a brother, Phillip Cuneo.

Coon is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Suzanne Leitch Cuneo; sister-in-law, Chris Newbill of Laguna Beach, CA; his son, Anthony Joseph Cuneo (28) and a daughter, Erin Lorraine Cuneo (26); brother, Mike (Carolyn) Cuneo of Larose, LA; nieces, Jacqueline (Kirk) Chouest and Gwen (Russ) Theriot and a nephew, T. Mike (Celeste) Cuneo.
