Daniel Philip Pape, 40, of Charlotte, NC passed away Monday, July 8, 2013. Daniel was born in Pensacola, FL and was the youngest son of Clarence and Rosemary Pape. He grew up in Panama City, FL, then moved back to Pensacola with his family and graduated from Pensacola High School in 1991. He also attended the University of South Alabama. Daniel was an accomplished chef and worked in Mobile, AL, Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known for his mischievous smile and adventurous spirit. His love for people influenced all that he did. He had a gift of hospitality and loved nothing more than to cook for a big group of friends. Daniel is preceded in death by his grandparents, Daniel Philip Neal, Clarence Pape and Florence Pape as well as an uncle, Dick Pape. He is survived by his parents, Clarence and Rosemary Pape; sister, Angela Pape Horne (Gary) and their children, Tim, Ryan and Joshua Horne; brother, Clarence Pape (Detra) and their children, Ragan and Rachel Pape; sister, Rebekah Pape Frenkel (Dondi) and their children, Ethan and Nathan Frenkel; grandparents, Johnny and Mary Haber; wife, Paige Pape of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Camille Estee` Pape of Atlanta, GA; son, Linden Smith of Jacksonville, FL; uncle, Terry Pape; cousin, Brandi Pape; aunt, Patricia Pape and cousin, Lacey Pape Gruver. Memorial Service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Charity Chapel on Montgomery Ave. with Rev. Michael Collins officiating.
