Daniel L. Young passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home in Pensacola, FL.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and later dedicated 45 years to the Santa Fe Railroad in Barstow, CA.

Daniel is survived by his four children, Duane J. Young, NE; James A. Young, FL; Homer L. Young, NE; and Ruth M. Young Vernon, WY. He also leaves his sister and only living sibling, Hazel Tomezak, who resides in Columbus, OH. Daniel was well liked by all who knew him. He was easy to talk to and had a quick-witted humor. He is already dearly missed.

He will be cremated in Pensacola, FL and will later be laid to rest with his family in the Linesville, PA cemetery. Due to current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, his final trip to Pennsylvania is TBD. All family will be notified when an official service has been arranged.
