Daryl Venable, 67, of Pensacola, FL went to be with his Lord on Monday, August 24, 2015 after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Daryl was born in Chickamauga, GA on November 25, 1947. He grew up in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN and graduated from Memphis State University in Memphis, where he majored in music. He played the trumpet for 25 years with the popular band, Natchez. Daryl was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a Radiologic Technician in Tennessee and Florida. He was best remembered as an accomplished musician and for his wit. He had many lifelong friends. Daryl was a loving son, father and brother. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Whitfield Venable. He is survived by his son, Garrett of Memphis, TN; his father, Charles William Venable of Gulf Breeze, FL; his sister, Linda Venable Moody (Stephen) of Pensacola, FL and his twin sister, Carol Venable Fetzer (Dan) of Hau'ula, HI. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held at the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, GA. Daryl will be greatly missed by his family.
