David DeNadal, 84, of Pensacola, FL, died on Friday, January 18, 2019.
David DeNadal, was born in Fall River, Ma in 1934. After finishing school, he joined the United States Army for which he served for 11 years. This included fighting for our country in the Vietnam War.
David married in 1956 and beginning in 1964 went on to have 3 daughters. His life of civil service began and he became an aircraft examiner at Quonset Point in Rhode Island. In 1973 he was transferred to Pensacola, Florida where he subsequently retired at the age of 55.
After retirement, David joined the Mannheim Car Auction, where he worked for over 20 years and retired this past May. He had found his dream job.
David was a highly respected member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree. He held many titles including Worthy Warden and Grand Knight. He was most known for his service to the mentally retarded and as chairman, headed the Tootsie Roll Drive each year.
David will be dearly missed by his wife of 62 years and his 3 children.
Mr. DeNadal is preceded in death by his father, Rico DeNadal and mother, Irma Perroni DeNadal.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Silvia DeNadal, Pensacola, FL; daughters, Lisa Ann DeNadal, Gainesville, FL, Stephanie Shao (Shane), Pensacola, FL, Tammy DeNadal, Pensacola, Florida;
sisters, Anne Marie Crowell, Somerset, MA, Paula Sullivan, Westport, MA and Rosemary Meideros, Somerset, MA.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, with a Rosary being prayed at 2:00 pm on Sunday January 27, 2019 at Harper- Morris Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church with Father Grebe officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to: The ARC Gateway, 3932 North 10th Ave, Pensacola, Fl 32503.
