David Michael Farris, 43, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021.

David was born in Memphis, TN but loved to travel. He traveled to Paris, France and to Toledo, Spain. Upon returning, he joined the Memphis Police Department and then over to Shelby County Sheriff's office and later transferred to Bellview Fire Department. He then left Escambia County and joined Life Guard Ambulance Service of Santa Rosa County. This is where he found what he loved. He returned to college and began working on getting his Registered Nursing License. He loved being and assistant Boy Scout Master. He loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, civil war history. He was an amateur hockey player and loved hockey, football and bowling.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Sandra Farris of Memphis, TN and Delton and Martha Thomas of Shawnee, OK.

David is survived by his mother, Susan Goines of Memphis, TN; father, Robert Farris (Carol) of Divide, CO; sisters, Robyn of Memphis, TN and Shana Rich (Tony) of Colorado Springs, CO; as well as many family members, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from all over.
