David Anthony Goley, 26, of Pensacola passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012. David was born in Junction City, KS on August 21, 1986. He graduated from Escambia High School and received an AA Degree from PJC. He was employed with Auto Parts International. Among many of David's hobbies were gaming, karate, playing and watching soccer, bowling, working-out, watching movies, learning how to play his guitar and speak Japanese. We will all miss his dry sense of humor, his sarcastic playfulness and his infectious smile. He enjoyed family, like the time his cousin Mandy made his Big Bird cake, and the many times he hung out with Shane and Keegan, kicking the soccer ball around with Kendal. He valued relationships like the close bond he shared with his Goddaughter Riley and the friends that he had and how they looked after each other and were always there for each other. There were a few people that he never mentioned admiring, but one person he did mention was Tara and her artistic ability. But there was one thing that had his heart and that was his dog Pearl. He was quiet on the outside but on the inside he was articulate, sensitive and warm. He did not give many hugs, but when he gave them you knew that they came from his heart, and when you felt those big strong arms wrapped around you for that moment it felt like all your problems melted away. We will cherish our memories of him and he will live on in our hearts forever. David was preceded in death by his sister, Lauren Marie Goley; uncle, James David Kennedy; maternal great-grandmother, Rosa French; maternal grandmother Margie F.
