David Alan Kisner, 42, of Destin and Pensacola, left his earthly home on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. He was born on January 1, 1970 in Melbourne, FL. Dave had been working in the sport fishing industry for many years. Most recently he resided in Destin as a Captain of the Southern Exposure and The Big H. He worked briefly as a crew boat Captain for oil platforms off Louisiana. While in Orange Beach he captained the charter fishing boat Underdog and also worked on board the Escape and a variety of other charter and private vessels in Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach. He is survived by his parents, Susan and Bernard Kisner; brother, Brian Kisner (Christy and Jenna); his adopted Destin family, Terri and Ed Smith; and his beloved sweetheart Karyn Hackman. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Friday, September 7, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Ladner officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. He followed his dream, caught his blue, and helped others enjoy the way of life he loved. We mourn a life too soon over. How can this hole in our hearts ever heal?
