David Alan Klumb, 65, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Lafayette, LA.

David was born on November 21, 1958, in Milwaukee, WI. After 24 years of service to his country, he retired from the US Coast Guard as a Warrant Officer. He also retired from Continental Airlines where he worked as an Airlines Agent. David also worked as a contractor in flight training at NAS Pensacola.

David is preceded in death by his sister, Kristine Locke and brother, Kevin Klumb.

Survivors include his children, David Klumb II, Sarah Sheeder, Rachel Baines (Deshani), Matthew Klumb, and Hannah Hogue (Scott); grandchildren, Isaiah, Daniel, Jasmine, and Jonah Scott; siblings, John Klumb (Sharon) and Lisa Heassler; as well as other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral cortege will depart Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm for a Graveside Service that will begin at 2:30 pm Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Barrancas National Cemetery with Deacon Bill Whibbs officiating and full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, David requested to please do a random act of kindness to at least 3 people.
