David Lamar Welch III, 67, passed away Sunday, March 4th, 2018 surrounded by his family.

David was born on May 28, 1950 in Panama City, FL, grew up in Pensacola and attended Pensacola Junior College (Pensacola State College). He moved to Panama City and joined his father, David Welch Jr. working at their floor covering business Surplus and Salvage Sales. He continued to run the business after this father's death and retired in 2014. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and playing with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Lamar Welch, Jr. and Nelle Johnson.

David will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Renee; daughter, April and her husband David; brother, Mark and wife Jean and two grandchildren, Eva and Diego.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at 11am at First Pentecostal Church, 6485 Pensacola Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32505.
