Obituary

Deborah "Debbie" Sue Hutto Webb, 75, of Pensacola passed away Monday, May 22, 2023.

Debbie was born to Edward and Rosa Lee Hutto on January 28, 1948, in Pensacola, FL. Debbie was the second of two girls and little sister to Brenda Hutto Bell. Debbie attended Warrington Elementary and Junior High schools, graduating from Escambia High School in 1966. Debbie's life goal was to be a stay-at-home wife and mother.  She married her first husband, Jimmie Thompson, in 1966 and became a mother in October 1969 when Charlotte Thompson Kroll was born. Debbie's family of four was completed in March of 1971, when Chantelle Thompson Lang was born. Debbie took great pride in her role as mother! She was very active and involved in all the girls' school, church, and softball activities. Room mom, field trip driver, fall carnival creator, team mom and assistant coach were just a few of the many hats Debbie wore, loved, and excelled at!

In 1999, Debbie reconnected with her lifelong friend, Doug Webb. Debbie and Doug had known each other since the age of 5, attending Redeemer Lutheran Church together. Debbie and Doug were married in 2001. They shared a passion for all things Cowboy! Throughout their 20 plus years together, Debbie and Doug traveled to Texas, Hawaii, Jacksonville, Montgomery, and many other places, visiting family and enjoying adventures like horseback riding and snorkeling. Debbie and Doug's family includes 7 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Debbie loved every animal she ever met! Over the years she had more dogs and cats than can be counted, even having a squirrel, ferret, horses, and cows. One of Debbie's greatest joys was snuggling with newborn calves in the pasture behind Debbie and Doug's home.

Debbie was an incredibly talented crafter. She created beautiful treasures in floral arrangements, ceramics, folk art pieces, sewing, crochet, and in most recent years, coloring. Many people have been blessed by her creations!

Debbie is preceded in death by her loving parents Edward Charles and Rosa Lee Hutto.  Her family rejoices and takes great comfort in knowing that she is in the loving arms of her Creator and Savior Jesus Christ and has been reunited with her adoring parents.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Doug Webb; sister, Brenda Bell (Tommy); daughters, Charlotte Kroll (Dar), Chantelle Lang (Doug), Barbara Lopez (Julio), Jaclyn Webb (Mark Kovalycsik); sons, Doug Webb Jr., James Lightsey, and John Lightsey, Sr (Brandy); grandchildren, Darwin C Kroll (Maddy), Erika Kroll Oviedo (Ben), Macy Lang, John Lightsey Jr., Jacob Webb (Selena Nolan), Daphne Lang, Sydelle Webb, Trinity Webb, and Isla June Webb; great grandson, Jack Ryan Webb; and, many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
