Debbie Copeland Richards, 77, passed away April 22, 2026, following a long battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ken Richards; daughter, Kelley Touchstone of Pensacola, FL; two stepsons, Don and Ken Richards of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Maigan Bolin (Ainsley) of Cantonment, FL, Forrest Neff (Amber) of Chumuckla, FL, Landan Bowden and Whitney Bolin both of Pensacola, FL, Devin Richards, Kenny Richards, Riley Richards, Brooke Richards Bessing, and Shannon Richards Goolsby all of Jacksonville, FL. She also leaves behind one sister, Loretta Copeland-Wright; along with several great grandchildren nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Nicholas and Susan Idel Copeland; her eldest daughter, Michelle Bolin; two sisters, Glenda Dees and Shirley Waite. She also leaves behind her two Yorkies, Isabella and Annabelle, who found a new home when Debbie passed. They were such comfort to her for many years and particularly while she was ill.

Debbie graduated from Murphy High School in 1967, and later served as an Azalea Trail Maid representing the City of Mobile, AL. Over the years, she was employed by Florida Solar Screens, First Mutual Association of Florida, and Delta Airlines all in Pensacola, FL. She retired from Delta in 2005 and enjoyed her time in Pace, FL with the love of her life, Ken. They also did some extensive travelling prior to her illness.

In accordance with Debbie's wishes, no funeral service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VITAS Healthcare Inpatient Hospice Care at West Florida Hospital, 8383 N. Davis Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32514, whose wonderful staff provided support and compassionate care in her final days.
