Dennis Louis Johnson, 29 years old, resident of Pensacola, Florida, died this past Sunday, February 13, 2011, following a cardiac arrest, after being sick in the hospital for a week. Dennis was born on December 16, 1981, in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil, where his parents are missionaries. He grew up in Brazil, where he met his future wife when he was only sixteen years old. He was a very happy person who loved to travel around the world. His goal was to visit 100 countries; so far he had achieved 50. Dennis loved his work in sales. He had an online business selling electronics. Dennis loved the Lord; he had a very tender heart for missions and charity for the Lord. He was a devoted and much loved husband, son, brother, and friend. Survivors include his wife, Sinticky Johnson of Pensacola, FL; parents David and Connie Johnson of Brazil; brother Douglas Johnson of Falls Church, VA; brother Jeffrey Johnson of Brazil; and sister Darlene Johnson of Brazil. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at 10 AM at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brennan officiating. The family will be taking Dennis cremains to Brazil for the funeral service and burial. The family would like to give God the glory and honor and to thank you for all of your prayers and kind support during this difficult time of illness and bereavement.
