Dennis William Vahle, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 20 , 2020 in Cantonment, FL. He was born in Canton, IL to Edgar William and Ruth Louise (OBryant) Vahle. Dennis served in the Army and enjoyed playing bass guitar, painting motorcycles, painting cars, and rooting for the Chicago Bears. He resided in Cantonment, FL.

His mother and father; stepmother, Margret Vahle; and one stepsister, Ginger Halfner, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his fiancée, Carol Tangman of Cantonment, FL; three daughters, Shirley Bridges of Cantonment, FL, and Rebecca (Lucas) Dunlap and Ashley Vahle, Canton, IL; five grandchildren, Elliot Holcomb of Cantonment, FL, and Makayla Thomas, and Auston, Emily, and Matthew Dunlap of Canton, IL; one brother, Marty Vahle of Canton, IL; one sister, Valerie (Brian) Putman of Owensville, IN; three stepsisters, Shiela Clauson, and Debbie and Cindy Woods; and two stepbrothers, Steve and Doug Halfner.

Family would like to thank the first responders; emergency room staff at West Florida Hospital, including Doctor Durant and Pam Charge Nurse, and William Smith along with staff at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel.
