Diana Marie Gorman Nobles, age 49 of Pensacola died peacefully Friday, September 24, 2010. Diana is preceded in death by her mother Irene Gorman and step mother, Geraldine Carter Gorman. She is survived by her father, Bill Gorman; daughter, Jessica Lynn Nobles; her sisters, Linda Gail Gorman, Pat Hockenberry (Jim) and Kathy Yochum; brother, Dewayne Gorman (Rebecca); step sister's, Charlene Schultheis and Cindy Hatcher and her best friend, Rebecca Majors; her grandchildren, Dierra, Jaylen, Autumn and C.J. and several nieces and nephews. Diana grew up in Pensacola, she worked for the State of Florida HRS division for 10 years. After leaving HRS she worked for Dollar Tree Inc. Diana loved home decorating, taking care of her plants and flowers. She especially enjoyed cook outs and spending time with her good friends and neighbors Elaine, Ron and James, she really loved you guys. The family would like to thank The Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Residence doctors, nurses and staff for their care, compassion for Diana and our family. A special thank you to Dianas Hospice nurse while she was at home, Ms. Stacey Deese, you touched all our lives and we will forever be grateful. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until Memorial Service to begin at 11:00am Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Michael Reed officiating. Committal will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504 in Dianas name.
